Renee Joyner Moore is a native of Wilson County and currently resides in Greene County of North Carolina with her husband, Scott Moore. Moore holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Barton College of Wilson, North Carolina. She considers herself a ceramic, textile and mixed-media artist always exploring various mediums to express her creativity. Her art has been exhibited at Tarboro Artisan Center, Arts Council of Wilson, Wilson Community College, Barton College, Zynique Creations of Wilson, and The Imperial Centre of Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Moore is a member of the Wilson Active Artists Association and several other national ceramic and sculpture arts organizations. She maintains an active role in the Arts of local communities and manages her career as a studio artist. Within her dual career as a professional Sign Language interpreter, she holds national certification for interpreting and transliterating along with a North Carolina License in the field of Sign Language interpreting. She also has an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Interpreter Education from Wilson Community College.
